Obituary

76, a resident of 300 North 26th Street, Butner, died Sunday, Dec. 5 at Durham Regional Hospital. He was a retired thirty-three year employee of Suntrust Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche Meadows Daye; two daughters,  Deborah Royster and Arlene Coleman both of Roxboro; six sons, Oliver Bobbitt of Durham, Thomas Daye of Roxboro, Charlie Daye of Fayetteville, Prentice Daye of Bullock, Joe Bobbitt of Burlington and Timothy Meadows of Stem; a sister and brother, Shirley Jones of Rougemont and George Wallace Daye of Burlington; a vast number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 10 at 1pm at Siloam Baptist Church in Rougemont by Rev. Willie Wayne Johnson. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 9 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home and one hour prior to services, Dec. 10, at Siloam Baptist Church.

NOTICE: It has been brought to our attention that church services will be limited to sixty attendees selected by the family.
