88, a resident of 4066 Jacksontown Road, Henderson, died Tuesday, July 30 at his home. He was the son of the late Charlie W. Cheek and Mary Edmonds Cheek. He was an automotive mechanic.

He is survived by three daughters, Roberta Powell of Warrenton, Deloris Bryant and Teresa Brown both of Henderson; four sons, Thurston Cheek of Miami, FL, Cleveland Cheek, Robert Cheek and Larry Cheek all of Henderson; two brothers, Jessie Cheek and Charles "Butch" Cheek both of Henderson; thirty grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 4 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, August 3 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
