68, a resident of 111 Leak Ave., died Friday, November 24 at Duke Medical Center. He was the son of the late William Pettiford and Hallie Henderson Pettiford.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Peace Pettiford; two daughters, Larissa Alpha Daniels and Christaine Leshay Pettiford both of Oxford; two sons, Bernard Sydney of Butner and Christopher Lee Pettiford of Oxford; three sisters, Ella Redding of Decatur, GA, Georgia Edgerton and Diane P. Bumpus both of Oxford; two brothers, Larry Pettiford of Oxford and Bobby Pettiford of Creedmoor; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 28 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jerry Harris. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, November 27 from 11:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
