82, a resident of 207 Summit Ave., died Thursday, June 15 at Duke Hospice. He was the son of the late Nathaniel Wilkins and Kate Reed Wilkins.

He is survive by his wife, Carolyn Reed Wilkins; three children, Stanley Wilkins of Newark, NJ, Beverly Gilbert (Felton) of Somerset, NJ and Valeria Ingram (Greg) of Newark, NJ; three step children, Kyle Barry Reed of East Orange, NJ, Kevin Michael Reed and Karen Janette Reed both of Newport News, VA., and a brother, Willie Wilkins (Mary) of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 20 at 1:00 P.M. at Morning Star Baptist Church by Rev. Dr. Adolphus Smith. The family will receive visitors at the residence of Willie and Mary Wilkins, 105 E. Quail Ridge Rd. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, June 19 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
