Minister Mary Watson Ragland, 63, transitioned on Saturday, November 29, 2025 in Burlington, NC. She was born in Warren County to the late James and Mary Elizabeth Boyd Watson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 pm, Saturday, December 6, 2025 at New Covenant United Holy Church (2811 Dearborn Dr, Durham, NC 27704) by Elder William Ragland, Jr, Eulogist and Elder Daemarkis Faison Love, Presiding. Interment will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park (6165 US-15, Oxford, NC 27565). Viewing will be from 11 am to 12pm Saturday at New Covenant United Holy Church.

She is survived by her loving husband, Elder William M. Ragland, Sr.; six children: Elder William Ragland, Jr (Johanna) of Greenville, NC, Michelle Wright (Robert) of Franklinton, NC, Danielle Ragland of Whitsett, NC, Maya Cheatham (Adrian) of Georgia, James Ragland of Whitsett, NC and Chad Barnett of Lynchburg, VA; a host of grandchildren; one sister, Delthine Watson of Henderson, NC and one brother, Clarence Watson of Henderson.
