87, a resident of 4143 Cannady Mill Road, and the widow of Dr. J. V. Morris, died Tuesday, Nov. 10 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Blackwell and Minnie Green Blackwell of Lenoir County.
She is survived by three daughters, Min. Jacqueline Morris-Goodson of oxford, Theresa Morris-Brown and Tina Morris-Anderson (Rev. Paul) both of Raleigh; one sister, Clara Patillo of Newport News, VA; one brother, Charlie Cox, Jr.(Patricia); a special nephew, Charles J. McCloud, Jr. (Esther) of Bristow, VA; five grandsons, James M. Goodson (Shana), JaRon M. Goodson, Dasmen M. Brown, Paul L. Anderson II and Noah J. Anderson; two other grandchildren, Catherine P. Valentine and Tiffani S. Luckett; three great grandchildren, Christin Satterwhite, Cebrena Satterwhite and James M. Goodson II; three sisters-in-law, Bennye M. Hayes, Lena Pearl Morris and Nora M. Hughes; three valued caregivers, Alice Harris, Margaret Taylor and Darlene Long; a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Nov. 15 at 3:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by her daughters, Min. Jacqueline Morris-Goodson, Theresa Morris-Brown and Tina Morris-Anderson. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at Wright Funeral Home. A viewing will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
