58, a resident of 203 Wilmington Avenue, died Wednesday, Sept. 11 at his home. He was the son of the late Douglas Wright and Mable Guess Wright. He was a brick mason.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Chavis Wright; three daughters, Shawanda Wright of Greensboro, LaPricious Chavis of Charlotte and Clotilda Cooper of Henderson; four sons, Michael Wright, Jr. of Raleigh, Malik Burwell, Markel Chavis and Micah Chavis all of Oxford; a brother, Darryl Fletcher of Virginia; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ronnie Cobb. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is schedueld for Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
