76, a resident of 2597 Brogden Road, died Thursday March 30 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late James Harris and Annie Belle Terry Harris.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Scott; two daughters, Cheryl Scott Crews and Charletta Scott Thomas both of Butner; four sisters, Willie B. Cozart, Gloria Ann Stovall, Barbara Royster and Penny Chavis all of Oxford; four brothers, James Harris, Nelson Harris and Glenn Harris all of Oxford and Dwayne Harris of Homestead, FL; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 3 at 1pm at Cornerstone Christian Community Church by Bishop James Betts (Facial coverings and social distancing required). No viewing is planned.
