95, a resident of 115 Daniel Street died Sunday, September 5 at her home. She was the daughter of the late George T. Cozart and Florence Moore Cozart. She was a retired employee of the food service department of Granville County Public Schools.

She is survived by three daughters, Letitia W. Footman of Durham, Joyce W. Carter of the home and Theresa W. Jones of Oxford; five sons, Charlie L. Walker and James R. Walker both of Durham, Willie W. Walker of Tuscaloosa, AL, George J. Walker of Waynesville and Lycurtis Walker of Creedmoor; twenty-four grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 10 at 11am at Belton Creek Baptist Church. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, September  9 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral home. All services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
