83, a resident of 2658 Bodie Currin Road, died Sunday at her home. SHe was the daughter of the late George Throckmorton and Cora Amis. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth Armstrong of Elm City; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 1 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Alston. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday May 31 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the home, Thursday, May 31 from 4-7 P.M.
