71, a resident of 209 First St. transitioned Tuesday, July 22. She was the daughter of the late William D. Smith and Beatrice Thornton Smith.

She is survived by a son, Dallas D. Smith of the home; five sisters, Marie Bell (Byron) of Oxford, Lila S. Revis of Henderson, Joann S. Allen (David), Margaret Wortham (James) and Patricia S. Watkins all of Oxford; three brothers, Larry Donnell Smith (Debra)of Oxford, Oscar C. Smith Anne) of Goldsboro and Michael Muhammad (Deborah) of Durham; three grandchildren; and a special friend, Clyde Hunt.

Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, July 27 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no public viewing.
