84, a resident of 129 Coventry Dr., died Monday, Oct. 16 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Blackwell and Ruth Perry Blackwell.

She is survived by three daughters, Anita Perry of Oxford, Joann Glover and Terry Barnes both of Richmond, VA; two sons, Douglas Pettiford of Oxford and Bruce Pettiford of Roxboro; two sisters, Mamie Perry of Oxford and Lucille Hawley of Kittrell; one brothers, Johnnie Blackwell of Elizabeth City; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Oct. 21 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 20 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
