64, a resident of 377 Clay Thomas Road, Roxboro, died Wednesday, April 7 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Dick Obie and Minnie Royster Moss. She was a retired employee of Duke Medical Center and a member of Prospect Hill Baptist Church in Person County.

She is survived by her son, Willie Pettiford (Brittney) of Greensboro; four sisters, Brenda Moss of Oxford, Bettie Royster of Raleigh, Shirley M. Suitt (James) of Raleigh, and Wanda M. Pettiford (Bruce) of Roxboro; one brother, Wayne Douglass Moss of Oxford; and two grandchildren.

Pastor George Harris will conduct a graveside service Wednesday, April 14 at 2:00 P.M. at Cheatham Memorial Park. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at graveside. Services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
