83, a resident of 1987 Hilton Road, Burlington, died Monday, July 20 at Brantwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the daughter of the late Sonny Hawley and Lillie Hawley Hawley formerly of Person County. She was a life-long member of Siloam Baptist Church in Rougemont.

She is survived by a daughter, Geneva M. Garland of Burlington; three granddaughters, Kimberly Danille Garland, Tiffany Deona Garland, and Tamela Lenise Garland all of Burlington; five great grandchildren' one sister, Sarah Hawley Venable of Oxford; two aunts, Ila Burt of Oxford, and Fannie Hawley of New Jersey.

A graveside service (limited to fifty (50) attendee selected by the family and observing Covid-19 guidelines - face masks and social distancing of six feet or more) will be held Friday, July 24 at 11:00 A.M. at Allen-Hawley Cemetery on Allen Creek Road in Rougemont by Rev. Wayne Johnson. A viewing will be held Thursday, July 23 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with Covid-19 guidelines of not more than ten (10) people in a gathering at any one time.
