92, a resident of 207 Sycamore St., died Wednesday, February 28 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Weldon Lester and Annis Royster Lester.

She was a graduate of the former Mary Potter Academy and Deshazor Beauty College. She was the mother of Timothy Darling Presbyterian Church and a member of American Legion Women's Auxiliary Unit 166 Oxford, North Carolina.

She is survived by three children, Robin (Ed), DeVetta (Rick) and Robert "Bobby", Jr.; (additionally she raised Michael Henderson and Dyantha Robinson); ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Timothy Darling Presbyterian Church by Rev. Dr. Tolokun Omokunde. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, March 4 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
