80, a resident of 610 28th Street, Butner, died Thursday, Sept. 29 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Elvis Estes and Estella Spivey Estes. She was a retired inspector with Nortel.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Green of the home; a son, Dwight Green (Veronica) of Clayton; two sisters, Estelle Staten of Wake Forest and Della Jefferson of Carteret, NJ; and two brothers, Johnny Estes, Jr. (Estella) of Butner and Calvin Estes (Sharon) of Durham.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Oct. 7 at 2pm at Rock Spring Baptist Church by Rev. Haywood L. Doc. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at the church. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
