103, a resident of Whitmore Retirement Center, died Thursday, November 1 at Whitmore. She was the daughter of the late William P. Cannady and Mary Glover Cannady.
She was a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC and earned a Master's degree from Smith University in Connecticut. She had an interesting life and it will be highlighted in Thursday's Oxford Public Ledger.
Rev. Tonia Hedgepath will conduct a memorial service Saturday, November 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Antioch Baptist Church.
