Mary Lou Brown, 101, a resident of Brantwood Nursing Center, transitioned on June 2, 2025. She was born in Granville County to the late Will Waller and Ellena Bullock Waller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm, Sunday, June 8 at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing is scheduled for 5pm to 7pm Saturday at Wright Funeral Home.

She is survived by a son, Stewart Brown of Oxford and a grandson, Stewart Brown, Jr. of Pennsylvania; and a host of nieces and nephews.
