80, a resident of 114 Garden Walk Drive, died Thursday, Feb. 11 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Elijah Thomas and Mattie Watkins Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Burwell (Rev. Charles) of Henderson; a son, Barry Gilliam of Dallas, TX; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Charles Burwell. A viewing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. All services will observe Covid-19 guidelines of face coverings and social distancing of six feet or more. Viewing will accommodate no more than ten people at any one time, and chapel services are limited to not more than fifty people.
