70, a resident of Elizabeth City, died Friday, September 8 from injuries from a Duke Medical Helicopter crash. She was the daughter of the late Zacharias White, Sr. and Josephine Hawkins White. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City. She was a member of Silver Leaf Temple #111 and Elizabeth City PDR Council.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Lennard N. Bartlett, Sr.; a son Lennard Barlett, Jr. of Durham; two daughters, Tracy Bartlett of Durham and Tiffany B. Thompson (Kenneth) of Elizabeth City; six grandchildren,Khalil, Keara, Kenia, Alecia, Azreya and Zanie; two sisters, Doris Brown (Charles) of Elizabeth City and Gladys Overton of California; a brother, Garland White also of Elizabeth City; a sister-in-law, Catherine Bunch and a brother-in-law, Leandrew (L.L.) bartlett (Victoria) of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 16 at 12:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City by Rev. Dr. Walter L. Smith.
