89, a resident of 122 Quialridge Road, transitioned Tuesday, Feb. 27 at her home. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas Cooley as\\and Martha Bridges Burford. She was a retired educator and a member of Belton Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her devoted son, Renwick Burford of the home; a brother, William T. Cooley, Jr. of Chicago, IL.; four grandchildren, Lekesha Burford, Sherry Burford, Varen Burford and Crystal Mitchell.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 2 at 3pm at Belton Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Andre Gilliard. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing is required.
