89, a resident of 606 29th St., Butner, transitioned Feb. 25 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Otha Lyon and Lillian Bullock Lyon.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Daniel of Butner and Tammy Downey of Creedmoor; two son, Milton Moss of Butner and Anthony Moss of Stem; one brother, Leonard Lyon of Butner; twelve grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 4 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Latosha Hicks. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Cemetery. A viewing has been scheduled for Monday, March 3 from 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
