81, a resident of 182 Oak Tree Lane, Henderson, died Thursday, August 25 at Maria Parham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Bruce Jones and Mattie Brame Jones.

She is survived by two daughters, Marie A. Harris of Warrenton and Frances Harris Williams of Durham; two sons, Cedrict Harris and Frederick Harris both of Henderson; six sisters, Frances Jones of Worcester, MA, Kattie Marrow of Wake Forest, Josephine Henderson, Nancy Young, Mildred Jones and Naomi Jones all of Henderson; two brothers, Jerry Jones of Raleigh and Eddie Jones of Henderson.

A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, August 30 at 2pm at Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, August 29 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
