82, a resident of 72 Kings Road, Henderson, transitioned Sunday, June 9 at Maria Parham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Hugh Hester, Sr. and Viola Harris Hester. She was an employee of Americal for over thirty years and was a retired from Revlon as a facilitator.

She was a member of Big Ruin Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Pastors Aide, Hostess and Missionary committee.

She is survived by two daughters, Tamiko Evans of Henderson and Valarie Tharrington of Mulberry, FL; three God-given children, Jamie Lee Hester, Deloris Hester, Clarrissa Alston; a brother and sister, Partick Hester and Tracey Hester; four grandchildren; and fourteen God-given grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 12 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Charles Burwell and Rev. Catherine Gill. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. There will be no public viewing. Facial Macks are voluntary but highly recommended.
