82, a resident of 2309 Thomas Road, Henderson, died Sunday, Sept. 9 at Maria Parham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Nathan Hanks and Rebecca Collins Hanks. She was a retired LPN.

She is survived by one daughter, Tonya Small of Henderson; five sons, John Jones, Jr., Richard "Ricky" Jones, Kenneth "Tookie" Jones, Michael Jones and Allen Jones all of Henderson; two sisters, Jerelene Quinitchett of Henderson and Rosa Hagans of East Orange, New Jersey; two brothers, Eugene Hanks and Henry Hanks both of Henderson; eleven Grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 11:00 A.M. at Woodsworth Baptist Church by Reverend Glendora Hargove. Burial will be in Mt. Zion United Church of Christ cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at 2309 Thomas Road in Henderson.
