96, a resident of 310 Howard Drive, transitioned Tuesday, July 18 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Dock Royster, Sr. and Essie Thornton Royster.

She is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn  Faison of New York and Patricia Kinton of Irvington, NJ; four sons, Marshall Kinton (Sheila), Michael Kinton (Christine), Toney Kinton (Karen) all of Oxford and Barry Kinton (Estelle) of Fayetteville; a sister, Frances Dunston of Oxford; twenty-five grandchildren; and thirty-eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2pm Sunday at New Hope Granville Baptist Church with Rev. James Isaac III presiding. Burial will be in Baptist Grove Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing has been scheduled for Saturday, July 22 from 2pm-4pm at Wright Funeral Home.
