37, a resident of New Orleans, LA, died Sunday, Dec. 29 in New Orleans. He was the son of Sandra Eaton Darby of Oxford and James "Jack" Darby of Virginia Beach, VA.

Other survivors include a daughter, Chanasia Darby of Chesapeake, VA; a son, Z'ion Darby of Durham; and a brother, Maurice Darby of Shelby.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 5 at 2:00 P.M. at Olive Grove Baptist Church by Pastor Johnnie White. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 4 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
