86, a resident of 3005 Henry Wilson Road, died Friday, Dec. 29 at Granville Health Systems. She was the daughter of the late Johnnie Blackwell and Ruth Perry Blackwell.

She is survived by three sons, Jesse Perry (Linda) of Butner, James Edward Perry and Richard Leo Perry both of the home; three daughters, Betty Nelson of Durham, Myrtle Harris and  Esther Louise Green both of Oxford; twelve grandchildren; and a number of great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 3 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Gregory Hatcher.  Burial will be in New Grassy Creek Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 2 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m at Wright Funeral Home. Facial coverings will be mandatory at all services.
