69, a resident of 6122 Wild Cherry Lane, died Tuesday, November 24 at his home. He was the son of the late Robert Cannon and Joanna Belk Cannon of Millsboro, Delaware. He was a retired Major with the United States Army and a retired Senior Program Analyst with American Express.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon A. Graham Cannon; four sons, George A. Cannon, Jr. (Lisa) of Acworth, GA, David Edwards (Joi) of Philadelphia, PA, Stephen Young (Tiffany) of High Point, and Michael Tolbert of Tyler, TX; three daughters,  Valina Hudson (George) and Yolanda Manley (Ameen) both of Philadelphia, PA, and Stesha Marable (Keith) of Oxford; four sisters, Sarah Turnipseed of Mobile, Alabama, James Anna Hooks of Memphis, Tennessee, Dr. Willie Cannon-Brown of Philadelphia, PA and Bertha Waters of Passaic, New Jersey; two brothers, Robert Cannon (Lena) of Passaic, NJ and David Cannon (Betty) of Elkins Park, PA; and twenty-one grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in safer times.
