85, a former resident of 5503 Antioch Road, died Sunday, July 11 at Toney Rest Home. She  was the daughter of the late Grant Peace, Sr. and Luvenia Lewis Peace.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy W. Black (Walter, Jr.) of Oxford and Sandra Mitchell of Winston-Salem; a sister, Priscilla P. Lemay of Oxford; three brothers, Grant Peace, Jr. (Gloria) and Leonard Peace (Shirley) both of Oxford, and Garland Peace (Lucille) of Maryland; and three grandchildren.

Rev. Tonia Hedgepeth will conduct services Saturday, July 17 at 11am on the grounds of Wright Funeral Home. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, July 16 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. All services will require facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more. This pandemic is NOT over.
