87, a native of Granville County, died December 9, 2022 in Nazareth, PA.  She was the daughter of the late William R. Pettiford and Mabel Blackwell Pettiford and the widow of the late James Leonard Bailey.

She was a graduate of the former Mary Potter Academy. She was a retired Supervisor from Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville, NJ.  She was a member of Hardie Grove Baptist Church in Oxford, NC.

She is survived by a daughter, Shildia Jones (Frank) of Nazareth, PA; granddaughters, Jamie Cox Jones and Dr. Brittany Jones both of Wilmington, DE and Fallon Jones of the home; two sisters, Joyce Williams and Rochelle Watkins both of Oxford, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 18 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Jean Jones. A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 17 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more will be observed.
