77, a resident of 108 Peachtree Street, Creedmoor, died Thursday, December 20 at his home. He was the son of the late Braxton L. Harris and Myrtle Marie Downey Harris. He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Brodie Jenkins Harris; a son, Lynwood Harris, Jr. of Greenville; two daughters, Kim Harris and Sonya Thomas both of Richmond, VA; three step-sons, William Brodie, Gary Brodie and LeAndrew Brodie all of Durham; a step-daughter, Jacquelyn Louise Lyon of Creedmoor; a sister, Lula Harris Melton of Durham; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 26 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kenneth Williams. A viewing will began Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will be in Olive Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services.
