100, a resident of 6165 NC Highway 96 North, died Tuesday, January 2 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Henry Morton and Kate Daniel Morton. She was a retired dietary employee of the Granville County School System.

She is survived by three daughters, Willie Mae Norwood (Ruffin), Joyce Marie Simmons (Herman) of Oxford and Joanna Edwards of Irvington, NJ; a son, Ulysses Morton (Rev. Charlene) of Oxford; a sister, Margaret Young of Brooklyn, NY; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 6 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Davis Chapel Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, January 5 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.
