75, a resident of 155 Brookside Lane, died Friday, June 9 at Brantwood Nursing Center. She was the daughter of the late Dorsey Speed and Lucy Thorpe Speed of Person County.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Henderson (Phyllis) of Oxford; a grandson, Cody Henderson of Oxford; a brother, Willie G. Speed (Christine) of Roxboro, six sisters, Ola M. Reed and Cora Walker both of Roxboro, Gennie Hunt, Sadie Eaton (Bobby), and Marilyn Downey (Larry) all of Oxford, Arlene Hawley of Virginia Beach, VA; an aunt, Molly Cozart of Durham.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 13 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Isaac III. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, June 12 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors at the residence of Bobby and Sadie Eaton, 108 Alex Street.
