Lucille Brandon Holden, 82, of 305 Prospect Avenue, transitioned on Sunday, November 24, 2024. She was born in Granville County to the late Thurston "Buster" Brandon and Mae Belle Stainback Brandon.

***(updated) Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Dec. 2 at 3:30 pm, at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop James Daniel. Burial will follow in the Only Way Church of Christ cemetery. A viewing has been scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 1, from 3pm-5p.m. at Wright Funeral Home.

Survivors include her children: Dorothy Wilkerson, Carol Wilkerson, Tamika Lawrence, Angelo Wilkerson, Bernard Holden Wilkerson, and Jiwan Wilkerson; sisters, Dorothy Fields, Mollie Glover, Queen Peace, Frances Green, Dorothy Hawley, Rennette Brandon, and Carolyn Karim and brothers, Willie Brandon, David Brandon and Johnny Brandon.
