91, a resident of 4013 Cannady Mill Road, Kittrell, transitioned Saturday, March 30 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Moses Burwell and Ophelia Brandon Burwell. She was a member of Pettiford Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Catherine Burwell Peace (Patrick) of Kittrell and Edith B. Rogers of Oxford; and a brother Robert Burwell (Judith) of Oxford; and a vast number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 5, at 2pm at Pettiford Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Alvin Downing, Sr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, April 4 from 5pm-7pm at the funeral home. Please wear your masks and observe social districting as much as possible.
