77,  a  resident of 4782  Old Highway 75, transitioned Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the home of her daughter of the late Lucious Thorpe and Mamie Hawley Thorpe.

She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Thorpe Burwell (Lonnie) of Oxford; two sisters, Catherine Washington (Ronald) of Oxford and Nora Pierce (Sherman) of Orlando, FL; four brothers, Sidney Thorpe, Clyde Ellis Thorpe, Daniel T. Thorpe (Dearise) and Bobby Thorpe all of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Nov. 18 at 2pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Johnnie White. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 17 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home.
