73, a resident of 99 Happy Valley Trail, Franklinton, died Thursday, Sept. 22 at Duke Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late George Lee Egerton and Shirley Alston Egerton.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Walker (Clarence) of Franklinton; two sisters, Patricia E. Cheatham of Louisburg and Lillie E. Rogers (Howard) of Franklinton; two brothers, Willie Egerton of Newport News, VA and James Thomas Egerton of Raleigh; and six grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Monday, Sept. 26 at Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church at 11am by Minister Shirley Fogg. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church.
