Linda Jean Thorpe Bell, 74, a resident of Charlotte, transitioned on Tuesday, August 5 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was born in Granville County to the late McKinley and Maddie McCaden Thorpe.

She is survived by two daughters, Eureka Thorpe and Jacinta Johnson both of Charlotte, NC; and one sister, Carolyn Thorpe of Oxford, NC and one brother, Connie Thorpe of Creedmoor, NC.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Sunday, August 10 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing is scheduled for 4pm to 6pm, Saturday, August 9 at Wright Funeral Home.
