a resident of 613 26th Street, Butner, died Tuesday, Aug. 16 at Duke Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Conway Allen and Rebecca Jones Allen. She was a member of Hawkins Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Jasper Harris of Creedmoor and David Harris, Jr. of Franklinton; three daughters, Brenda Campbell of Garner, Denise Freeman of Creedmoor and Jacqueline Harris of Durham; a brother, Luther Curtis of Butner; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, Aug. 20 at 11am at Hawkins Chapel Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 19 from 4pm-6pm at Wright Funeral Home. All services will observe Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
