Lewis Melvin Marrow, 83, of 107 Chelsea Lane, transitioned on June 4, 2025 at Duke University Hospital in Durham. He was born in Granville County to the late Willie M. Marrow and Olivia Taylor Marrow.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Wednesday, June 11 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Floyd Greenwood, Presiding and Reverend Wallace Lewis, Eulogist. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing is scheduled for 5pm to 7pm Tuesday.

He is survived by a daughter, Marilyn M. Perry (Johnnie) of Creedmoor; two sons: Melvin J. Marrow (Catherine) of Charlotte and Nathaniel Marrow (Carla) of Oxford; ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Nelly Taylor Walthurst (Elliott) of Long Island, NY and two brothers: Harold Marrow (Patricia) of Cleveland, OH and Rubin Daniel of Huntersville.
