90, a resident of Garysburg, died  Saturday, August 28 at Vidant North Hospital, Roanoke Rapids. He was the son of the late Lester Greenwood, Sr. and Ulysses McGhee Greenwood of Oxford.

He was the brother of Roosevelt Greenwood (Shirley) of Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 3 at 12:00 Noon at Chapel Grove Baptist Church in Garysburg. A viewing is scheduled for Thursday, September 2 from 5pm-7pm at Cofield Mortuary in Roanoke Rapids. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
