91, a resident of 6516 Old Roxboro Road, died Tuesday, June 6 at Duke Regional Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Thorpe and Cora Lyons Thorpe. She was a retired farmer.

She is survived by a sister, Sarah Thorpe Brooks of the home; and three brothers, Robert T. Thorpe (Rosa) and Pete Thorpe both of Roxboro, and George Thorpe od Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 10 at 2pm at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Elder James H. Williams. Burial will be in White Roak Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 9 from 5pm-7pm at Wright Funeral Home. Covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing will be observed.
