53, a resident of 104 Briarwood Street in Henderson, died Thursday, Dec. 17 in Louisburg. He was the son of Carrie Frances Henderson Jones and the late Leanza Walker.

He was a member of United Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees and was a member of the Male Choir. He was an employee of the North Carolina State Parks at Satterwhite pointe.

He is survived by a wife, Vickie Durham Henderson; three sons, Leander T. Henderson, Adarius G. Henderson and Damius R. Henderson all of Oxford; five sisters, Catherine Wilkins, Cora Peace, Darlene Jones, Katrina Williams and Carla Daye all of Oxford; four brothers, Elvin Jones of Forsythe, GA, Albert Jones, Larry Jones and Edward Alston all Oxford.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 223 at 1:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home by Rev. Jeanette Paschall. Burial was in Meadowview Memorial Park.
