77, a resident of 703 John Street, Henderson, died Monday, Feb. 8, at Maria Parham Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Guy Jones, Sr. and Emma Lee Miller Jones of Lenoir County.

She is survived by a fiance, Alford Woods, Jr.;nine sisters, Melva Lee Kornegay and Cora Lee Jones both of Dover, Lillie Mae Jones-Smith of Newark, NJ, Clementine "Tina" Pearson of Manning, SC, Georgia Mae Uzzell of Maplewood, NJ, Lottie Jones McKelvey of Monks Corner, Delores Jones-Smith of Grimesland, Debbie Dean Jones and Barbara Jones-Thomas both of Kinston; three brothers, Johnnie Erving Jones of Dover, James Franklin Jones of kinston and MSgt Nathaniel Jones of El Paso, TX; and a god-child, Zana Townsend of Henderson.

Funeral services have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16, at 2:00 P.M. at Michael Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Wiley Robinson. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
