74, a resident of 2113 Old Mill Road, Franklinton, died Saturday August 5 at his residence. He was the son of the late Johnny Walker, Sr and Mattie Ogburn Walker of Miami, FL. He was a professional truck driver.

He is survived by his son, Larry V.  Walker, Jr. of Fayetteville; five siblings, Johnny Walker Sr. of Los Angeles, CA, Willie Walker, Sr. of Hahira, GA, Jesse Walker of McDonough, GA, Christine W. Sanders and Elmira Walker both of Franklinton; thirteen grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 20 at 1pm at Franklinton Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5 Green Hill Road, Franklinton, by Pastor Myles Young. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services. The family request that those attending the service please follow covid-19 protocols of facial coverings and social distancing of six feet or more.
