Dr. Larry Ellis Hamme, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on November 24, 1948, in Oxford, North Carolina, he was the fifth of six children born to Oscar Cornell Hamme and Lucy Davis.

He is survived by a daughter, Sana T. Hamme, a son, Lamar E. Hamme, a grandson, Koah E. Hamme, and his siblings: Carolyn Hamme Allen, Eula Geraldine Hamme Downey, and Ashton Hamme, Sr.

Family visitation and viewing will be held from 1 pm to 2 pm, Friday, November 21 at Wright Funeral Home, Janazah Prayers will follow at 2:30 pm. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
