48, a resident of 2515 Bodie Currin Road, died Monday, April 3. He was the son of the late Ernest C. Cooper and Betty L. Hawley.

He is survived by six daughters, Jessica Satterfield of Durham, LaToya Cooper and Victoria Cooper both of Roxboro, LaTamara Cooper, Kimberly Tarry, LaPrecious Tarry all of Oxford; one son, Larry Cooper, Jr. of Burlington; four sisters, Joyce Harris, Jacqueline Cooper, Sandra Cooper and Queen Cooper all of Oxford; two brothers, Terry Cooper and Steven Cooper both of Oxford; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 8 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kenneth Hester. Burial will be in New Hope Granville Baptist Church cemetery. A viewing is scheduled for Friday, April 7 from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
