Kimberly Shenita Burwell, 49, of Granville County, transitioned on Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born in Durham County to John and Shirley Downey Burwell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm, Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Wright Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadowview Memorial Park. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her parents: John Burwell and Shirley Downey Burwell; one brother, Timothy Downey of Oxford and one nephew, Timothy Downey of Charlotte
