52, a resident of 411 Thomas Green Road, Roxboro, died Wednesday, January 2 at his home. He was the son of the late Isaac Sylvester Hodges and Nannie Mae Hunt Hodges. He was a self-employed Truck driver.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Bumpass Hodges; three daughters, Tekeisha S. Hunt of Durham, Monica S. Cason (Marcus) of Chapel Hill and Dornita R. Melvin (Jeffrey) of Warner Robins, GA; one son, Dimonique T. Cooper of Greensboro; three brothers, Isaac Thomas Hodges (Joyce), Darrick Pernell Hodges and Calvin Hodges (Tonya) all of Oxford; six sisters, Doris Ann Hunt (Earl), Barbara Sneed, Joan Hicks (Crawford), Karen Hester (Larry), Nadine Carroll (Jay) all of Oxford, and Cassandra Hicks (Brian) of Durham; two brothers-in-law, Edward Bumpass (Dorothy) and Darryl Bumpass both of Oxford; three sisters-in-law, Mary Bumpass of Oxford, Mamie B. Davis (Reuben) of Creedmoor, and Mabeleen B. Bass (Timothy) of Durham; and thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 8 at 2:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. William Black and Rev. James Isaac III. Burial will be in New Hope Granville Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home and at other times at 6049 Pine Town Road. A viewing is scheduled for Monday, January 7 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Wright Funeral Home.
